OROLOG Modern Times

Bridging the past and the future, here comes the ultimate transitional object… Imagined and thought by Ian Lowe et Angela Adams, the Orolog watch series was born from Jaime Hayón’s creative genius. Hailed as one of the most influential creator of the past decade, Hayón’s wide range of talents has brought the world armchairs, tables, mirrors. Scultpures, and ceramics. And now… watches. The common denominator to these creations ? The roundness of his shapes, pushed forward, exaggerated always. It’s roundness everywhere, yes, that makes him so special, as well as an uncanny ability to give sex appeal to the most regressive tones.

The Orolog watch offers the absolute mix between technology and design, thanks to its unique personality, relieved of the tradition burden. The mate softness of the (almost) square dial and the stainless steel give the watch a touch of versatility. Light and dynamic in the daytime, futuristic at night, Orolog embodies the sharp spirit of the trio behind the work, as much as the person who will wear it: someone in a hurry to take their time, confident that they will come out winners, unexpectedly.
