GLAS ITALIA Light & water

Starting Friday 19, Leclaireur displays artworks by GLAS Italia in its rue Boissy d’Anglas space. Those outstanding pieces are counted among the most exclusive produced by the brand.

GLAS Italia was born in 1970 in Macherio, North of Milan, from the will to sublime glass by producing exquisite furniture and playing with the transparency offered by a material both noble and popular. The company has collaborated with some of the world’s most talented designers and glass makers, combining ancestral techniques and technological innovations.

The HYPERtable par GLAS Italia

The HYPERtable glass, designed by Mario Bellini, is made of weightless cristal pieces bevelled to different angles. Crossed by asymmetric lines, the HYPERtable toys with volumes, irregular shapes and light reflections, like a multifaceted trompe-l’oeil. Only three exclusive models are available at Leclaireur Boissy d’Anglas.

Tables basses Fountain

The Fountain coffee table line designed by Tokujin Yoshioka and handcrafted in a Murano poured glass, evokes a poetic interpretation of nature, just like frozen waterfalls.

Glass Shelves #1

The Glass Shelves #1 is an historical creation from 1976, designed by Shiro Kuramata, one of the 20th Century’s greatest designer, whose work embodies Japanese postmodernism. The library is solely made of transparent crystal. It is composed of multiple squares with equal dimensions, balancing order and measure in a refined style.

Table Specchio di Venere

The Massimiliano Locatelli’s glass tables, Specchio di Venere, once presented on a Fornasetti floor, offer organic shapes cascading from the table top like liquid silver, enhanced by silver feet that support them.
