CORALLA MAIURI Arty porcelain

Coralla Maiuri creates objects inspired by her inner world. A world she started creating during her childhood in the countryside she spent digging in the mud and playing with colors.

She began her artistic path with installations and videos before turning to design and porcelain. A craft that became her favorite way to express herself, through colors and metallics that she assembles in a sacred dance. Assembling vibrant pieces, as primitive as they are precious.

Enter the Villa Borghese, pass by Caravaggio and Michelangelo, meet glowing Apollo. Her tableware line draws its inspiration directly from the finest Italian arts. On her pieces, graphic dots create joyous, organic galaxies highlighted by gold accents, in a neoclassic, quite raw esthetic. The regal combination of blue and gold, meets the purity of white broken up by bright yellow and soft pink.

Before her presentation at Maison & Objet, Coralla Maiuri stopped at Leclaireur Hérold for a dinner presenting her latest pieces, now available at Leclaireur Boissy d’Anglas.
