Stuart Weitzman Effortless refinement

For as long as he can recall, Stuart Weitzman has loved shoes.

He began his career in his father’s company, before taking it over with his brother Warren. He sold it during the early 70s before choosing to buy it back in 1994. He has been ornamenting billions of feet, since, throughout the world.

In 2002, Laura Harring, David Lynch heroine in Mulholland Drive, wore one of his creations to the Academy Awards red carpet: a pair of strappy heels, comprised of 464 diamonds, the “million dollar shoe” that made brought him fame.

Pushing the limits of creation, Weitzman uses peculiar materials such as cork, wallpaper and 24 carat gold. Imagined like jewelry and imagination arousing pieces, a Stuart Weitzman shoe is anything but an accessory.
