Maison Rabih Kayrouz A Lebanese in Babylon

Born in Lebanon, Rabih Kayrouz graduated from the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in 1994. He then trained in Dior and Chanel’s studios, most notably. Upon his return to Lebanon, he founded his own brand in 1998, in a then booming country.

In 2009, the designer, fueled by his love for the theater of life, as he likes to call it, came back to Paris and chose to install his workshop in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, in the building that used to host the Petit Théâtre de Babylone.

Since then, he’s been staging his life and work, designing, creating, presenting and selling his collections, in that same location. In 2013, Rabih Kayrouz was appointed Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French government, and appointed as member of the French Federation of Couture, Ready to Wear, Couturiers and Fashion Designers, in 2016.
