Leon Emanuel Blanck Sinuous folds
Avant-garde fashion designer Leon Emanuel Blanck is based in Germany. His dark, anti-conformist style mostly stems from the way he brings fabric to interact with the body.
Using large pieces of fabric that he fashions and stitches directly on the body, he creates sinuous folds and asymmetrical, sculptural pieces. His silhouettes are graced with a post-apocalyptic allure that underlines the beauty of imperfection. Each piece can require up to 70 hours of work.
