Giambattista Valli Epically romantic
Giambattista Valli founded his eponymous house in 2005, unleashing his vision of the female silhouette, surrounded by a refined, delicate, romantic aura. The Valli woman, like an apparition, gracefully steps into the light, wrapped in aerial, pleated or chiffon dresses that cascade lightly onto the floor.
Gambattista’s life is itself a never-ending source of inspiration. From his childhood, from his passion for Michelangelo Antonioni’s movies, he's kept a undying love for travelling and staging. Yves Saint Laurent’s watercolors, his first encounter with fashion, taught him how to create in light, refined strokes. His initiation to Couture was alongside Roberto Capucci. He went on to work for Fendi in 1990, and with Ungaro, before leaving in December 2004.
Valli’s own solo collections were met with immediate success, reaching as far as Jordan's and Savoie's Royal Palaces and quickly gracing Hollywood’s most exclusive red carpets.
Leclaireur Boissy d’Anglas is the perfect home to Valli’s unique refinement.
