Ghidini 1961 The future is gold
Born from the Ghidini Bosco of Villa Carcina manufacture, GHIDINI1961 was launched in 2016 by Stefano Giovannoni its artistic director, and specializes in dyed brass, aluminum or zamak renditions of products imagined by international architects and designers. The brand draws from the manufacture’s timeless know-how and, coupled with its understanding of advanced technologies, allowing for rapid prototyping. Its catalogue includes hundreds of products, ranging from lighting fixtures to furnishing and decorative items.
Giovannoni’s alliance with such creative minds as Andrea Branzi, brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana, Richard Hutten, Elisa Giovannoni, Studio Job and Nika Zupanc has led to a 2017 collection that is as spectacular as it is whimsical. Hutten’s butterfly coat rack and Giovannoni’s own rabbit door stopper meet Branzi and Zupanc’s clean-cut designs.
The collection's variety offers a compendium of significant contemporary creative expressions, interpreted and enhanced by GHIDINI1961’s skillful ability to interpret brass in all its possible forms. Adding new chrome, steel polished, rose gold, gun metal, black laquered and copper bronze finishings, GHIDINI1961 bestows a newly found and welcome contemporary touch on brass.
