LECLAIREUR has a long-standing relationship with the gifts of cuisine. From the first in-store kitchen in the boutique on rue des Rosiers, to today’s NO NAME KITCHEN MANUFACTURE built at LECLAIREUR Hérold, Martine & Armand Hadida have always viewed this essential room as the heart of a space — where the magic happens. Between the savours on the table and the relating between the people, what happens in the kitchen can take root, and bloom into stories in which humans undertake unforeseen leaps of faith and creation.
World-renowned French chef and restaurateur Alain Ducasse has been redefining the terms of cuisine since the 1990s. Three of his restaurants hold 3 stars each in the Michelin Guide, and the empire he’s built across the globe has earned him, as of this writing, 21 simultaneous stars in the previously mentioned glorious billboard of restaurants. In 2013, at the young age of 56, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List. Conveying his passion and savoir-faire is of such fundamental value to Alain Ducasse that, in 2009, he opened his own cooking school, with the greatest of purposes in mind: bring his knowledge to the general public for the first time.
With the values of savoir-faire and creativity overflowing in both these extraordinary houses, collaboration was an obvious next step. And here we are. Monthly cooking classes with the Ducasse school at the Hérold Kitchen, are available to a small, exclusive crowd of ten guests, all taught by Executive Chef Julien Mercier, who began his career alongside Alain Ducasse in 2000.
« A condensation of experiences and know-how, adapted to everyone’s desires » – Alain Ducasse
The class held from 7pm to 9pm on April 7, 2016 will be the first of four.
