Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, Monse’s artistic directors saw their modernity and instantaneous success coronated by the Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent, previously received by Rosie Assoulin and Hood by Air.


Devna Gvasalia’s taste for breaking codes and references – like Riccardo Tisci’s before him – earned him the International Prize for his work for Vêtements and Balenciaga. Proof, if need be, that Fashion’s voice is not dead, and still willing to takes risks, provoke and astonish with second degree, intellectual and off-beat humour.

Franca Sozzani, the dearly missed Editor in chief of Vogue Italia, who passed away last December, was officially made an icon. Rick Owens was presented with the Geoffrey Been Lifetime Achievement Award, his name joining a very exclusive list, alongside those of Vera Wang, Tom Ford, Hubert de Givenchy, and Yves Saint Laurent.
