A long-lasting friend of Leclaireur’s and author of the rue de Sévigné space design – Belgian artist Arne Quinze‘s suspended installation, titled NATURAL CHAOS Golden Edition N°1, represents a milestone in an incredibly prolific and creative career. Friends, collectors and devotees gathered in the heart of West Hollywood to discover this astonishing aerial piece, made of 99 pounds of pure gold, handcrafted by Arne Quinze, in partnership with Veridor.

Created in 2014, this unique piece was built from 192 yards of rods, pipes, cables and gold leaves. A glimpse into a gracious interstellar chaos, it’s suspended in time and space, like a refined and light golden cloud.
By using materials usually used by jewelers, such as white gold and rose gold – a yellow gold, copper and silver alloy, the artist has reinforced his creation’s poignant impact, echoing nature’s endless beauty. Almost five-foot tall, Quinze’s NATURAL CHAOS moves in perfect equilibrium, balanced by the gold leaves that compose it, drawing the light, basking the room in its golden glow.
From Bruxelles to Los Angeles, with a foot in Leclaireur Sévigné, Arne Quinze’s creations reveal their peculiar ability to bond with their audience. The unveil of NATURAL CHAOS Golden Edition N°1 in Los Angeles was clearly an enchanting evening. Need proof?
