Info Prod­uct: The design of this col­lec­tion of con­tain­ers comes after hav­ing care­fully stud­ied the arti­san tech­nique of Viet­namese fish­er­men who work with palm wood. Slim wooden rods are assem­bled by hand fol­low­ing a cir­cu­lar motion, as if mak­ing a gigan­tic pot. The pieces from the col­lec­tion have been made by a team of 300 crafts­peo­ple who belong to the MAI Viet­namese Hand­i­crafts asso­ci­a­tion, and 30% of the pro­ceeds are donated to schol­ar­ships for Viet­namese stu­dents.
