Candas Sisman

L’Eclaireur is delighted to wel­come the dig­i­tal artist Can­daş Şişman. You can find Candas’s dig­i­tal art­works on the 147 screens, at Sévi­gné space.

After fin­ish­ing İzmir Ana­to­lian Fine Arts High School he grad­u­ated from Eskişe­hir Ana­to­lian Uni­ver­sity in Ani­ma­tion. Dur­ing his under­grad­u­ate stud­ies he took Mul­ti­me­dia Design courses for one year in Netherlands.

Since 2006 he has received many awards, such as hon­orary men­tion from ARS ELECTRONİCA in Com­puter Animation/ Film /VFX cat­e­gory and Rome Viedram Fes­ti­val Video and Sound Design best prize.

Sis­man incor­po­rates an abstract nar­ra­tive lan­guage in his works, which con­tain a naivety and sim­plic­ity in con­tra­dic­tion with the com­mo­tion and ide­ol­ogy of life in general.
