Neil Barrett

Another St Mar­tins School of Art suc­cess story, Neil Bar­rett was born to a tai­lor­ing fam­ily in Devon, Eng­land. After grad­u­a­tion the menswear designer was snapped up by Gucci in Italy before he took it upon him­self to approach Miuc­cia Prada and per­suade her to let him launch a Prada menswear line. He launched menswear label in 1999, fol­lowed by wom­enswear a few years later. His look is smart and under­stated, fus­ing tra­di­tional Eng­lish tai­lor­ing with sharp Ital­ian lines.
