Jun Takahashi

Japan­ese label Under­cover is the work of designer Jun Taka­hashi, who orig­i­nally stud­ied at the Bunka Acad­emy of Fash­ion. Taka­hashi cre­ated Under­cover in 2003. Work­ing with con­trast­ing oppo­sites, he describes his style as ‘cute but scary, beau­ti­ful but ugly’. His wom­enswear col­lec­tions reveal the light fem­i­nine side of Undercover’s dark­est influ­ences and are always finely detailed and beau­ti­fully finished.
