Founder of Herno, Giusppe Marenzi, set out in 1948 to design the per­fect men’s rain­coat com­bin­ing prac­ti­cal func­tion­al­ity and cut­ting edge fash­ion. Herno expanded its range of out­er­wear over the next few decades with both men’s and women’s cloth­ing, reach­ing across Europe and even­tu­ally approach­ing the Japan­ese mar­ket in the 1970’s and the US in the 1980’s.
