Equip­ment was founded in 1975 by Chris­t­ian Restoin, hus­band of Vogue Paris’ for­mer editor-in-chief, Carine Roit­feld. Inspired by clas­sic men’s shirt­ing, the label cre­ates a styl­ish mix of androg­yny and glam­our. Relaunched in 2010 by Serge Azria, Cre­ative Direc­tor of Current/Elliott, Equip­ment is renowned for chic sim­plic­ity; with mas­cu­line sil­hou­ettes crafted in lux­u­ri­ous silks and a time­less palette of muted colours.
