The philosophy of L’Eclaireur is simple. We want to create venues with a unique feel. Fashion, design and lifestyle merge and each space has its own identity.

In line with this philosophy, Atelier Fornasetti was asked to design the restaurant and bar on rue Boissy d’Anglas in Paris. Surreal motifs and original flavours rub shoulders with a cutting-edge designer selection.

THE RESTAURANT is an atypical place. With a desire to innovate even further, Armand Hadida gave the keys to this unique venue to the winning team from Café de l’Homme: Coco Couperie-Eiffel and Christophe Bonnat.

And so the paths of fashion and gastronomy crossed. With the complicity of Chef Olivier Génique (formerly of Pourcel, Lasserre, and Ducasse), they excite our taste buds with their menus, revisiting and revising the classics.

Here, recipes are inspired by the terroir and flavours are enhanced by a hint of audacity so dear to the winning pair.

The Chef’s creativity opens the doors to a world of astonishing discovery and gastronomy takes root in high quality, authentic products.

Attention to detail is omnipresent. Dishes are devoured and the eye delighted!

Every item on the table has been chosen in collaboration with the famous Porcelain manufacturer Bernardaud, with the sole aim of highlighting the food.

L’Eclaireur Restaurant & Bar has two menus. The day menu has been designed for the loyal lunch crowd with quick, gourmet and light dishes.

Fish and chips, L’Eclaireur club sandwich, King crab Caesar salad and Thai beef salad astonish in their freshness and unusual flavour combinations.

The evening menu is for culinary adventurers and fans of excellent cuisine.

Fillet of Salers beef and king prawn tempura sit naturally alongside the truffle toasted sandwich. And the desserts continue the gourmet journey L’Eclaireur waffle with chocolate and Chantilly cream, homemade Tarte Tatin, selection of organic ice creams and sorbets…

After 3pm, the restaurant becomes a tea room. From 3 to 7.15pm, it’s tea time with sweet and savoury dishes for all to enjoy: Norwegian smoked salmon or the L’Eclaireur club sandwich, or why not a plate of Gran Reserva Bellota Iberico ham…

Give in to the L’Eclaireur waffle with chocolate and Chantilly cream and its sweet flavours of childhood, the Deconstructed Dame Blanche pear or the various sorbets and ice creams – all have become our favourite sins.

There are no less than 60 Dammann teas to choose from and 8 Nespresso coffees to accompany your tea-time delights.

THE BAR has two watchwords: quality and expertise. Always at the forefront of innovation, the grand crus and champagnes are available on an iPad. These nectars of the gods are listed by type, grape, regions and appellations. The app recommends a selection most suited to the dishes you have ordered.

Enter the privileged world of oenology. Discovering history, grapes and the perfect culinary match for your chosen wine is both philosophical and fun. When difference becomes an art. L’Eclaireur offers a new vision of sharing. From spring, L’Eclaireur’s version of post-work relaxation means enjoying creative and surprising finger food outside the restaurant, taking advantage of the new concept of late shopping.

What could be more exhilarating than sipping a delicious glass of wine whilst buying the outfit of your dreams!
