History

In 1980, Armand Hadida opened his first point of sale in the base­ment of a gallery on the Champs Elysées. For him a way to affirm his cho­sen path by propos­ing clothes of design­ers embody­ing the bright­ness in fash­ion for the upcom­ing decades.


He became the first dis­trib­u­tor of brands like Gir­baud, Prada, Hel­mut Lang, John Gal­liano, Ann Demeule­meester, Dries Van Noten, Mar­tin Margiela in France.


1980 — Open­ing of the first bou­tique “L’Eclaireur” on the Champs Elysées (Paris 8).


1990 — Open­ing of a 300m2 large space, rue des Rosiers (Paris 4), an asso­ci­a­tion of mul­ti­ple artis­tic expres­sions con­cern­ing fash­ion, sil­ver­ware, glass and design.


2000 — Open­ing of a new space, 12 rue Mal­her (Paris 4), ded­i­cated to menswear and fragrances.


2001 — Open­ing of a 500 m2 large space, 10 rue Hérold (place des Vic­toires, Paris 1). The bou­tique will become rewarded as the num­ber 1 in the world of Lux­ury by Gold­man Sachs.


2007 — Open­ing of a 500 m2 large space, 10 rue Boissy d’Anglas (Paris 8), with the first fully equipped restau­rant as a trib­ute to Piero Fornasetti.


2009 — Inau­gu­ra­tion of a new 450 m2 large space, 40 rue de Sévi­gné (Paris 3), cre­ated in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Arne Quinze.


2010 — L’Eclaireur cel­e­brates its 30th anniversary.


2011 — Open­ing of  “Le Royal Eclaireur”, inside of  Royal Mon­ceau Hotel 39/41 Avenue Hoche. Paris 8éme.
