Rosa Maria – born Rosy Abourous – is a Lebanese jewelry designer. She presented her first collection in Paris in 1998, when she met Armand Hadida. Two seasons later, her creations were displayed at LECLAIREUR. Today, she works silver and gold, ornate with sparkling rubies, sapphires, tourmalines, topazes and other shimmering stones. Her designs are raw and organic, her volumes XXL and, yet, refined. Drawing inspirations from Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten, Yohji Yamamoto and Martin Margiela, she thrives in creating unprecedented and overall experimental, mystical, edgy, and feminine esthetics.
On our fingers, Rosa Maria’s Fall/Winter 2016 collections offer large rounded open windows incrusted with small stones, and smaller asymmetrical curbs that offer a graceful embrace, like precious, unexpected pins.
