Lutz Huelle and his partner David Ballu created their brand in 2000. Their imagination has lead them, ever since, to the reshaping of classics, toying with structures and volumes, reinventing identity. A draped trench coat wrap themselves around the body like a dress would, and controlled, thick cotton dresses are worn like coats. With draped chiffon as an aerial signature enhancing their work, basics turn out to be anything but.
Central Saint Martins graduate Huelle spent three years alongside Martin Margiela, working on the House’s “Artisanal” couture line. Lutz Huelle won the very much coveted French ANDAM prize not once, but twice. Enough said.
